These days, there has been lots of discussion going on the internet about the next Pagerank update from Google. Lots of people have been making their assumption about it and if you believe in rumors, it should have been started by 31st of March. I was hoping for a page rank update towards the end of first week of April.. And it turns about to be true. Yes, Google has finally started updating their public Page rank few hours back. Before the beginning of this PR update , ScopeForMoney.com was PR 0 and now, page rank for SFM is 2. So that's great news for me. Finally I received my lost page rank which was PR 3 way back in July 2008. You can check that page rank post about ScopeForMoney here. Google has yet to update the backlinks details for website pages, we may be able to see all that in action in the next one week time. A second reason to hold onto the domain is that any backlinks you had will still be relevant, which is advantageous as it is often difficult to gain links on a new domain. Archive Your Old Content and Start Fresh: it does not look the greatest to have a big gap of time between your last post and your new one. You can remedy this by archiving your old posts (the ones you like the most) or by reposting them on the new blog as fresh content. Try to keep the posts that received comments.
